try doing a search for the name in the registry - when you find it, edit the file with own name

also delete the *.pwl (password )files from the windows folder

Depending on the model you might also have to remove the little lithium backup battery.

The best ting to do would be format the hard drive then you will have an as new laptop with all the crap from the previous user will be removed

Remove the battery?????<br />No!!!<br />Its stored in the registry, nowhere else. Clearing the bios will make no difference
