I've used MS Natural keyboards since they were first released.

a year, or so, ago i bought a Natural 4000.

many of the letters, on the keys themselves, are now illegible.
this contrast starkly with my original Natural, which i still have (circa 1995). despite the keyboard being a faded yellow ish brown colour now (it started bright white) all the key letters are still intact!!!!

apart from popping at MS for a replacement. has anyone any idea how to replace the letters?
I also note my Logitech Wave, though the same age, has suffered nothing like this. and that gets used way, way more!

cheers man!

I may well have a go at getting MS to replace it.
as not all the commonly used keys are, even, showing sighs of vanishing.
I might have a shout at claiming "poor QC" and manufacture, is the problem.

I reason that as the commonly used keys are wearing "unevenly" there might well be an inconsistency in manufacture.
and anyway, they claim it is for home and office.
I doubt i have the output of an office user.
I don't even use the key short cut for most of the programs i use.

think i have any choice?

mind you, do you think they may not be too impressed if they knew i would sell it, and get myself a k350 desk set.
though I've always loved my MS Naturals.
its my opinion the Waves are far superior in almost all ways.
and the keys still look brand new even after heavy use. (for a home)

sorry man, rambling a bit there. possibly had one too many for further posting.
