hi guys just installed a new hard drive when i reboot it the pc i get the message ntldr is missing can anybody help me out of this hole or what
does it mean what have i done wrong its a sata drive os xp pro...any help appricated.....thanx

If you have just installed a 2nd hard drive, your PC could be trying to boot from that and not the one with windows installed, Hence NTLDR error.
Try going into the BIOS menu and change hard drive boot order, see if that sorts it.

I had this problem yesterday when installing a new hard drive.

The things you need to check are:

1. Make sure your computer isnt trying to boot from new hard drive.
2. Make sure your main drive is set to master and the other to slave.
3. In you BOIS make sure your main drive is set to be read before your new drive.

Hope this helps and good luck.
