I have an XP desktop and a Windows 7 laptop which i have connected by my home wireless broadband.

I have the desktop and laptop set up so i can access files on both machines via my wireless connection and i am also able to print via the desktop.

For some reason it seems that every now and then when i try and access the desktops files or do something where i need to connect via the desktop from my laptop, it causes the desktop to blue screen.

Everytime this happens i reboot the desktop and it seems fine until it happens again.

Can anyone advise how to resolve the issue or give me pointers.

Thanks in advance.

Download this, and it will tell you exactly what has caused the crash.

Code:
Resplendence Software - WhoCrashed, automatic crash dump analyzer

------------------------------

Hi i downloaded WhoCrashed onto the laptop running windows 7 and i came back with no errors. When i tried to install it onto the desktop with XP on, WhoCrashed would not install and kept coming up with errors about missing debugging package. When i tried to download the debugging package it just kept coming back with other errors saying files were missing.

Any further help would be required.
