Depends how old the laptop is as to whether drivers have been written for it's components.

Assuming you've tried connecting via ethernet and using Windows Update, are there Vista drivers available? You can use them in 7.

Audio drivers may be on the audio chipset manufacturer's website. Realtek is the most common, but C-Media and VIA also appear.

There are no drivers for the E4 on the PB web site. Even for XP.

Wireless card is either the Intel Pro/Wireless 2100 or 2200BG. Intel has not and will not be providing Win 7 drivers for either. Also there are only 32bit drivers available for Vista...

For sound you want the RealTek's AC'97 audio codecs: Realtek

XP drivers here use compatibility mode
