Here you go guys, not my proggy so thanks to original developer. This little thing is hard to come by.

This will unlock your Dell computer whether it is BIOS or HDD master password.

You need to enter the full Asset number including the "-" for the BIOS and the first ** for the HDD password.

Even works with the dreaded 595B models.

And then I get a System Number: 52624R1-1D3B

The system works fine, but I cant to any BIOS changes because I dont have the administrative password!

suffix 1D3B cannot be calculated with our calcs
have you updated the BIOS recently

initially you said it had a suffix of -595B if you haven't updated BIOS I'm baffled to how its gone to 1D3B
I have seen Bios downgraded to -595B then the password works but you can knacker your laptop if anything goes wrong

I have never mentioned -595B I think you are refering to the user called "papen"? :)

sorry my friend you are correct I must be working too hard :silly:

As I said that 1D3B suffix cannot be done with our calcs, it can be downgraded to -595B but I think only if it was previously upgraded from -595B

Thats ok my friend... it happends to all of us! :)

Now I have one last question... if it is not possible to calculate a new password with your calculators, and I asume it is not possible to downgrade the BIOS... What options do I have left, if any?

the options are Dell or paid service websites but some of them want an arm and a leg to do it
google Dell BIOS -1D3B password and you should get plenty of hits (FleaBay do them but be careful)

try X0eRbcc226a1Hrj2 2nd is a zero and note changes from upper to lower case

I have read through the forum and cant find a clear answer to this. Trying to get the hdd password for an older dell inspiron 2500 laptop. the hdd password just displays a prompt for user password and hdd serial number being 7 digits, in the bios the number is longer however. Any Ideas on where to go with this? Thanks

The number it lists is mrg2a9kb the full number in bios lists mrg2a9kbhdk53j machine has a pheonix bios dont know if that matters
