Copy One harddrive to another.?

Just back it up with the likes of Acronis true image (or similar), switch hdd and install the image on it and it will be exactly like the other one, all files, mp3s etc etc will be there. It will only take about 15 minutes to back up and same to recover it....depending on drive size.

Acronis True Image or Norton Ghost. Both are on Hiren's Boot CD.

Definitely Acronis or Ghost. I tend to prefer to Ghost, but it's largely personal preference. I've only used Acronis a handful of time, but it's never failed me.

I've used Migrate Easy from acronis. The free trial version will work fine as it is valid for 15 days. (but it doesn't take 15 days to copy the drive!)

acronis true image for me even change the size of the partitions if your'e going to use a bigger drive
