computer clock keeps resetting

Agreed with CMOS battery but Mairyhinge does make a good point.

Tell your missus the motherboard, CPU, Memory and GFX card is faulty.
 
Boot sequence, RAID settings, USB legacy, stop on error.

If you've overclocked you might want to note down the voltages etc too, otherwise ignore.

The BIOS doesn't always reset, but it has happened to me in the past. However, the risk is minimised if you can get the battery changed in <30 seconds.
 
if it does not fix the problem it might pay to get the system to halt on all errors and not restart. This will show you the error that is causing the computer to restart. ON some motherboards the computer wont even turn on if the battery is low.
