I was hoping someone can point me in the right direction, i have purchased a Zalman cnps 7500 fan but the actual clip has snapped clean in two ive done a bit of googling but to no avail does anyone know where i would be able to purchase one of these or get hold of one. If any one has a spare i would give you a few bob for cheers.

Is your Zalman CNP S7500 in copper version(pic) or the aluminium version(Oblong Cylindrical) ?

BTW which socket would you using it in ( 478, 754, 775, 939, 940, AM2)?

Here's the Zalman web site links that looks like could be your CNP S7500

The real issue is the processor its sitting on. If you can tell us which CPU then we can possibly help.

I might have a clip out of the middle of a CNPS7700, as I burnt the fan motor out getting the power lead caught between the copper fins and the fan blade :(

I should also have a spare socket 939 set up too (backplate, nipples and 'L-type' grips) from the replacement, as the 7700 is a slightly different setup to the 7500.

I will have to check tho'. Other than the huge chunk of copper, which I'll weigh in eventually ;), I'm not sure what I kept...
