here goes

all was working fine with monitor up until yesterday , went out then when i come back i noticed that the picture was duller than normal , the whites look a bit gey and nothin seems as sharp as it should . it looks like if u look at a mobile screen just before the screen goes dark it fades a little so u can still see the screen

have looked at the settings on the comp for display and there still set the same , have also checked the settings on the monitor and there still the same

is the monitor on its way out or is there a simple cure that i have overlooked

thx in advance

if it's a crt then a capacitor has probably started to fail in the high-voltage section,
this often goes with either the picture shrinking a bit or going a bit wavy.

if it's lcd then your tube or invertor may have a problem.

Check that another set-up profile hasn't been activated accidentally in the monitor's menu and possibly in your graphics card settings.
