There's a new web based exploit thats been released affecting Quicktime used in browsers. I've tested it, and it will exploit Firefox, IE7 and Opera. Find details through this link. This seems very serious, and people should be very careful when clicking links to mp3, mov, mpeg files etc they don't explicitly trust.
As a side note, the problem is with quicktime, not any particular browser, so disabling javascript in your browser doesn't seem to do anything (at least for me).
