i think i may have seen this posted else where on the forum but could not find it ? i don't have xp but for you that do it may be of use

as far as i know m8 its all the updates/patches for windows xp since sp1 - if you've been updating via windows update you most likely would not need the patches or updates as you would have them already as i don't have xp i can not tell you a lot more than that so as the saying goes if it's not broke don't try and fix it lol
it's around 9.2 meg i would think it's a total update from when a clean install of xp was done and never updated ??????????????????? it could be hany if you have to re-format and have all the updates to hand without haveong to hunt them all down one at a time i guess
 
should be safe enough to do - if you have XP with SP1 then you will be OK. As far as I know, only the ORIGINAL corporate edition (pre SP1) got goosed by the updates
