Dear people I needed a question answering and would be grateful if somebody could answer it for me. As people may know many channels going down on cs on sat through open box which I currently use. Someone has mentioned if I get a zgemma box ( only need the cheap lc one) and cs through cable, all the channels still work and all in hd. If this is true will switch to cs cable via vermin media. I would be grateful for any advice before I buy one.

I would not recommend zgemma lc mate.
Pay a bit more and get zgemma H2H.

The reason i say the LC will struggle with ip*v and is a slow box with little support.
The H2H is much faster and in the distant future say vermin goes down on c/s you can add ip*v to the box so no need to buy another one.

edit:
they are a lot more advanced boxes to setup compared to an openbox.
You may also need a splitter if you have just broadband from vermin?
Also you do get all sports/movies and others in HD.

Dear river4ever what does the h2h stand more as I was told the lc is a single tuner as I wasn't to bothered about recording. Ok will go for the h2h but what does that model do extra? And finally as the sat cs channels keeping going down......are all channels currently working on cable vermin media? And are they all hd

Yes got vermin broadband and have got splitter..but currently using open box with sat gift. I think you have answered all questions but then throws up another question. I'm finding it hard to think what will plugging in the sat cable achieve say for example if the channels would be all dark. Sorry for the ignorant questions, but I really don't know.

The H2H is twin tuner.
Both sat & cable. You won't be using tuner A just tuner B
(tuner B is cable)

zgemma just rename name models as bring newer ones out.
zgemma do not have a single cable tuner out there "just the LC model"

the LC model never really took off due to poor reviews of it.
If you want to watch just vermin go for it. But it's slow and you will struggle to watch things on say.....TSmedia.

Or you can go with H2H that will run ip*v and is good stable fast box.
I have H2H and only recently finding out the things can run in them.

As always you are magnificent with your vast amount of knowledge. Thank you.

hi does someone have a upto date zgemma lc image they can share with me which will sort out the loss of audio and voiceover on some channels, thankyou

cheers i downloaded the nightly open atv its bare bones i need one with mg cam etc already installed my last image had everything set up already and worked great till the sound issues started, if someone could share there image that would be great

its not that hard to add your own plugins mgcamb etc because the box you have is not used much so not many images out there

for an extra 5 pounds go for the H3.2TC - same as a H2H but has dual cable tuner (only takes single input but splits signal internally). Therefore you can record one channel and watch another on cable side, this is the box I recommend to family and friends now.

@jfish

can this model H3.2TC be flashed from the front as the older ones was usb at rear only

Do you think openatv is the best image for a dm800se for using cam emulators
