can anyone point me in the right direction of where to put line to get zgemma star working
I have put autobouquets in and i have tried to put newcmd in but still not working.
Any help thanks

When you FTP to var then keys you should have 2 files.
"mg_cfg" and "newcamd.list"

edit the newcamd.list file and type your details as follows....

CWS_KEEPALIVE = 300
CWS = HOST PORT USER PASSWORD 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14

save that then restart MGcamd via remote.
(this is on openVIX i think openATV is slightly different)

cheers mate ive put newcam in but i cant find mgcamd to resart it will keep looking

I assume your running openVIX.
On remote press blue button.
Softcam manager.
You should see MGcamd.
Press bule button when your on MGcamd.
That will enable cam to start on boot.
Then press yellow button to start.

Also have you got mgcam installed? if your using openvix then plugins are not supported on zgemma so you will have to find your own working version (not hard)if you have then have you got the mg_cfg file in var/keys as river said.

vix doesnt support zgemma now.

bring it down and i'll fix it for you..

OpenVIX will work on zgemma.
With refference to cams they can be sent to box without the need of plugins.
Just FTP the file required to its destination.

Agreed, but if I was setting up a zgemma now , I would use openatv.

on openatv press portal button in the menu that pops up you will see info panel or softcam panel look in there you will see how to restart cam and set it to auto start
