Weird issue

Hi I'm having an issue with my xtrend 10k (cable), I was watching a recorded film and when I turned back to Tv it's a blank screen with message no data on transponder (timeout reading pat) the only channel that clears is BBC one HD I don't even pick up BBC 1 SD, it happened last week to after watching a film on dreamplex.
I just set a recording on a blank channel that didn't clear sly one HD and then turned over to sly premier HD ( tuner b) and it cleared, stopped the recording and now all is clearing again (tuner a) any ideas IV not changed or added anything in a few months so I'm a bit confused as to what's going on
