I gave my box to my girlfriend for a x mas pressie, but she looses all channels after a day or two, scan again and they are back. Looks like shes in a different net id area even though shes only 2 miles down the road, me being 41011 and she being 41015. Ive changed this in the settings (openatv image 5.3) but still loose all channels including FTA after a day or two. Do i need to change anything else so i dont have to scan every day?

If I remember correctly don't you have to select change you net id is 2 places one when you setup tuner and two in ABM if that's what you are using

It is ABM that is in use, I will give that area a good look over tonight as I have only entered the net id in the setup tuner section. Cheers.

You can always do a factory reset that will remove all setting, then go and reset everything back up.

You don't need to setup the tuner with correct netid in the UK and Ireland. I leave mine at 00000. If in doubt, try it and see.

In ABM, you must use the correct one though.

Just for an update, finally got to play with the girlfriends box last night (ooo errr misses) and happy to report that setting netid in ABM has done the trick.
