No idea why you would do it that long winded way.
Use adbfire 130 or what ever is latest.
Just push files straight to sd card and install from zip.
Apk file just install themselves.

my fire stick is not rooted , so having probs with transferring zip files across

will give it a try and see if it works :)

No need for root.
If you want to install a zip just push file to sd card using adbfire
Then settings-install from zip-root-sd card - select file and it installs.
Also apk files just install by selecting install apk-select file-install ok.

simplest & quickest way to go

yip had a try using adbfire 130 and works brill

cheers guys ;)

I will mention, as I've spent two days trying to figure out why I couldn't push files after following a guide, that when You first set up adbfire and You add your Fire boxes ip address make sure on the same page You also select Your version of xbmc. I've been pulling My hair out trying to push files to tvmc when the program was set to Kodi :blushing:.

All is working great now though.

Another one to mention do not try run adbfire with out extracting it, DCC on enigma boxs can run but this one won't connect unless extracted.

adbfire on enigma 2 you lost me

Sorry I maybe did not made it clear, adbfire I assume is just a file transfer package like dreambox control centre for linux box's. Dreambox control centre can be run in its zipped state but adbfire will launch and look like its working but will not connect. I fell foul of this when I first tried to send files to the firestick.

teamviewer is brill drag and drop any location you can FTP to the stick

had a few probs on emulator side (Snes] insert a zip Rom into alarms folder)

but all working fine now :)

both brilliant programs guys but i had probs inserting a Rom zip into alarms folder

been trying to put kodi on my firestick for the last 3 days using abdfire and Amazon FireTV Utility looked at the posts in here and a few vids on you tube but can not get it to connect can someone give me a few pointers please

thanx for looking

now open abdfire press new add the description (what ever you want )then add the ip you got from your stick make sure preset directories is on addons then press instal a p k if it doesn't connect stop a.d.b and refresh it till shows your ip in the connected devices box

all i get is device not connected pulling my hair out here

you could try reset to factory defaults and try the process again from the beginning or if you have a smart phone you could download apps2fire then send es file explorer to your stick the ftp to it with filezilla long way round but should get ko di on for you

silly question and believe me ive tried both after you put firestick into tv and put the wire in do you put usb into plug then into mains (wifi) or into pc/laptop for best results

connect firestick to tv then mains use the adapter on tv as well then pc on adbfire connect
