Android T8 aml v2 Firmware

Hi can anyone help me.
I have two t8 boxes one I have set up the way I want it, (firmware, kodi, etc,). can I copy all of this to the other box including firmware, via sd card or other means. If so please tell me how.

I don't think you can copy the firmware or kodi but for the rest of it you can try this, just ignore the wookie bit

I am new to all this, but from looking at your reply this method will copy kodi settings, can I copy the firmware from one box to another.

I don’t think so mate but I’m not sure

The way I understand it, though I could be wrong

The firmware is the equivalent of the contents in the bios & Eprom of a computer

Kodi is the equivalent of the operating system on a computer

And the add-ons are the equivalent of the software on a computer

From the home page go to My Apps / file browser / local disc / android folder / data folder /

From inside the data folder you need to copy both these two directories complete

“org.xbmc.kodi” and “org.xbmc.xbmc”

Save them on a USB

These two directories contain everything you have on your box including all the Files, repos, add-ons, and settings.

If ever anything goes wrong just put the USB content back into and overwrite the same files.
