Anybody else getting an issue with Firestick and Wookie. My stick shows a warning as full and locks up.But it has 3.15Gb storage left?
Just wondered if anyone had come across this

Also don't use zero cache settings.

Zero cache gives people with fire tv stick (and other small hd devices) a low disk space warning during playback of high bitrate movies because large video files fill up the disk.

better off running your own set up have only what you need
may take a little longer but satisfaction guaranteed
other methods have too much crap with it

Are these fire sticks any good? I previously bought one of those mx midnight boxes which was naff... Im looking for a cheap solution to run Kodi.

Currently I have an HTPC which works really well but I have Windows running as well as Kodi and Im looking to find a cheap and cheerful plug and play approach with an integrated remote - a la the Firestick.

Cheers

I've bought 1 for the bedroom and only got kodi on it, you'll need to sideload it. Can't fault it for the price, and kodi works with the remote as well

Sent from my HTC One_M8

have a couple set up to my liking kodi with few addons all you need

That's the conclusion I have also arrived at.

prefer raw maintenance to mucky duck

both do much the same though

These dont have USB capabilites do they? So if I wanted to stream locally rather than over the wifi then I could?

Also do you experience any buffering issues with HD content?

I haven't had any buffering issues streaming over wifi from my shared files. I have read that the micro sub port is for power only. I'm not sure if that is the case if the device is routed I'm not sure. Apparently rooting them isn't that easy these days either again I don't know for sure. It streams just fine though as long as the source is ok.

How do I change it from zero cache settings?
