Is there a way to stop Amazon doing the updates?
hi, I've just downloaded adbfire. I can see where it says that Amazon updates are switched on. When I uncheck the box and click on save. When I go back to look the tick appears back in the box ?? I've tried it a couple of times and the same thing keeps happening.

I used to have firestarter autostart Kodi because I have no use for the amazon part of the firetvstickI don't know of a way to auto start but as you have said go in recents or if you press and hold the home button you make Kodi a favourite and select it that way.
The fire stick goes in to standby anyway, so when you wake it up it will carry on from where you left off.
Why would you need it to auto start? Just don't turn it off. Or click the ok button.
