Ive just brought 2 now TV boxes for the kids rooms, they come with 2 months movie pass
now what I dont get is I take it it will be 1 account (mine as the parent and card lol)

Will me having 1 account give me 2 2 month movie passes one for each room ? or will I need to set up 2 accounts ?

:err:

also can I use the 1 month free trial then use the 2 month movie pass giving me 3 months ?

Ta for any pointers

If it is like the sports codes @Rat they are individual codes, so you should only need one account (as both boxes will use one internet connection) with one code for each box, maybe you register the two boxes to your one account, I'm guessing a little but i'm sure it will be on the nowtv site. If you want a sports pass code let me know, as I have one or two ;)

ps. Check for expiry dates on the codes, when I bought a chromecast with a nowtv entertainment code recently, it said it expires at the end of January.

when you add another box to your account it registers with your nowtv account, you will get the movies on both boxes, use your 30 days first, then add 1 of your 2 month passes, don't know if they will let you stack your vouchers or not,but make sure you cancel them or you will be charged at end of the 2 month period. hope this helps

Thanks @sneaker and @coathanger57 :)

Just picked them up from Argos and there is no expiry date on the passes :)

I know you can attach 4 devices to an account, so what I might do is set up 2 accounts and have 8 devices :)as I would imagine that 1 account the 2 boxes would count as 2 devices ?

yeah I will cancel pretty much right away online ;)
thanks again

Don't forget to enable Dev mode and install plex. The box really shows it's worth with plex installed :)

When you install Plex do all the Now TV apps stay ?

you install all the apps on plex on your pc

then left click on the channel lets say movies25 and input the url fix to the streem

Just set them up :) easy, started 1 month free trial, if all goes according to plan should have movies until the end of may
1 month trial 2x 2 month passes

:)

carling pass for the footie sorted lol

but make sure you cancel them or you will be charged at end of the 2 month period. hope this helps

probably a silly question? I've just started the month trial, if I cancel the pass "now" will the Movies still show for the remaining month but will end the subscription

i seem to be getting a loading screen every min when playing .mp4 on a nowtv box using plex any ideas why?

sounds like network issues. are you streaming locally? try turning right down the quality level and then go up one step at a time until you get something managable

Hey, I've been reading that you can download an app to use the usb slot for movies. Does anyone know anything about this? Been looking for the file usbplayer.zip to load in dev mode but my searches so far has found loads of references, but no file!
