Not sure if posted in the right place but thought it looked the best place . I have a Vu solo 2 with the normal bouquets installed no issue. I have a IPTV sub but while the solo 2 front panel will tell me what the name and I can see this under IPTV in Openwebif -

If I go to IPTV folder I get the channel names but can not break these down into bouquets as they dono appear on the Left hand panel, thus unable to create a group. The problem is I either have to rememder the channel number or scroll through all the channels until I get the channel I want, pain in the rear. How can I split these in a bouquets.

So basically, you have a large IPTV bouquet and you want to break it down into smaller bouquets?

Yes that is correct I have this sorted after a play with a program called E Channelzer I made smaller bouquets which worked for me. One other thing is there a way to get the EPG function working on the IPTV setup

wont EPG importer do this?

Have not tried this if you think it will I will have a look, were do yo get the epg file from and will it auto update or is it a manual operation. I am not sure of the program hence the questions.

its been a while since i used it but from memory press the blue button and select EPG importer in extensions menu.
at the top of the menu press the "right arrow" button to change "automatic import EPG" to enabled.
here you can set the time for it to auto update each day....like you do with cross EPG.
press green to save.
then press blue and select your EPG sources...IE rytec uk...rytec virgin...sky uk
press green to save then press yellow to manualy update the sources.

dont quote me on this but you may beable to acheive the same thing if you update rytec providers in crossEPG then choose the XMLTV providers you need from the rytec list.

Glad you got it sorted, that is the way to do it. Receiver bouquets from the receiver, edit them how you like, save, send back to receiver.

I also got a solo 2 running blackhole image with rats bouquets. I have few questions before i load iptv onto it. Will my sly xhannels still work? Also can some1 post pics how the iptv interface looks. Does it break down the channels into bouquets e.g. sports movies etc. Does the iptv server wirk like a plugin on the bh image? I dont want any info on servers just how its looks so i can decide if i want to input it onto my box. Thankz

so everything is in 1 place.

you can also use plugins like the XC plugin.

How do you get it to work alongside the sat bouquets? I tried that xc plugin i dont like it channels are all over the place and subfolders dont have all the channels like rats bouquets.

its all down to the provider im affraid.
my provider gave me a script that you telnet to the receiver and its all done for you.
ive used the XC plugin to and every bouquet and channel was in the correct bouquet/channel order, again this is down to your supplier.
you could ask your provider for the m3u file and create your own iptv bouquets yourself using esettings. but i found setting up the EPG was a pain in the ass.

a member posted a tutorial last week for setting up iptv with esettings.

It is so easy to do,Ask provider for an m3u file and use esettings+ to create your own bouquets list,You can then cross reference the numbers to give the epg,I did this on another forum 12 months ago with a full guide,I am really busy at the moment but will do a full guide in the next few weeks

Any chance you could share the contents of that script with us (obviously remove your line details first)? I've been looking for a simple way to do this without messing around with 3rd party apps. Maybe that script can be edited to work with other providers.

The problem with a M£U list is that every time the list updates you have to update the list manually.

With a script its all done for you

You can use the xtream app and it can be updated via the app using the blue button on enigma 2 boxes

Does the IPTV run within the plug-in or does it add the channels to bouquets like ABM? Any chance you have a link to this plug-in to give it a try?

hi all,
not sure if I'm posting in the correct place,
got iptv and had the XC plugin on VU+ Duo

telneted the box to make the one large iptv bouquet. - all working fine,
tried to create sub bouquets , sports, movies etc, and on doing so the channel names dissapear and become numbers - i.e.. 355.ts, yet in the iptv Bouquet the channel name remains.
any suggestions would be great

cheers

Tam
