trying to change channel list

hey all, im trying to change my channel list to AJ's but every time i do it just messes up and i have to put my old 1 back on. anybody no where im goin wrong? im puttin the dbs file on memory stick, onto box , upgrade by usb, misc file, seclect & upgrade , add TP_PROG.dbs then upgrade (yellow) it goes though and reboots but when comes bk on its all messed up! im i doin it right? im on software ver 3601hd_05_06_2012_0597

Unzip TP_PROG.zip with a program such as winrar & place the TP_PROG.DBS file onto the root of your USB drive.
In the Openbox menu delete your current channel list by going to the "Edit Channel" tab & selecting "Delete All".
Staying in the menu navigate to the "Tools" tab then "Upgrade by USB", change the upgrade mode from "Image File" to "Misc Files" then "Select & Upgrade" & select "TP_PROG.DBS" then press yellow, if all done correctly it should begin to upgrade.

ive done that mate but fav's r still the same as b4 and sly number's not in order?

you need to rename the favorites to suit aj list only takes 5 mins with remote
 
Which receiver do you have? I think some of them were only limited to 10 favourites.
 
F3 mate, is there a software that works better with AJ's list as mine's golla be at least a yr old now.

put my list in for Scotland and change regional ajs may be based on an openbox list f3 based list should overwrite favourite name am sure there are many fav in my list but I just edit hd ,sports etc as they move
 
Hi Liam
when you go into update by usb, look at the options called "keeping DBS and settings"it will be on yes change it to no and it will up date and put the new channel list on there should be no need to re name any channels.

also mate you may want to change firmware on box as by the looks of it you are running an old version, the newer versions have favs set to 30 and above, also has alot of little extras
