hi guys i'v been searching all night but does anyone have a multi sat channel list for this box
thanks in advance

I have a multi sat scan. based on the old Laurels scan.... not entirely my own work and I also have a 3pm fottie scan too if it is of any use......

This file is actually a tp_dbs file and you can upload to receiver view lantool or usb, but for the moment the extension has been renamed to.abs to allow you to tweak with the ali editor. When you are done, rename extension to .dbs and you are good to upload!

Hi, maybe I should be starting a new thread with MY question, but as there are so few Openbox threads on DGWZ,

Does anyone have a usable MULTISAT Channel List for an Openbox V8S, it's presumably a dbs/TP.PROG format file as opposed to the ndf format Multisat Channel Lists I use on my TM5402HD M3!

Not seen many of them lists about.
What should work is say your V8s is pointed at 28.2e and you have an up to date list for that.
Then your wanting a list on say 19.2e

once you leave 28.2e then point at 19.2e do a blind scan on your V8s.
You will then have both but you will need to edit the list after you dump your TP_PROS.dbs.
Use PVR program. It very good and quick at editing. Also one you do this once you can use that list as a template.

Cheers mate, however not sure if that would actually work because surely each time you carry out the blind scan, say 39E, 23.5E, 19E, 16E, 13E, 1W, you may run the risk of over-writing each one as you go along?
I have a motorized 1.1M dish, so using USALS I can scan each satellite - or even carry out a 'multi-satellite' scan, but this simply repeatedly fills up the memory - and in any case with all the mega limited 'channel editing' facility its a MEGA pain to attempt to edit satellite by satellite, when a multi-satellite editor along the lines of the Clarke Tech Channel Editor would be great!

Unfortunately Clarke Tech is totally the wrong format - and Openbox don't really appear to have an equivalent one, other than the PVR8000 Channel editor of course!

Wonder if it's possible to edit a Clarke Tech .ndf channel list by substituting a TP_PROGS.dbs header on it?

No mate.
When you do a blind scan it will capture channels that moved. All you need to do is replace the moved channels with the ones you got in blind scan and delete the rest you don't need.
Or do full scan on each of 39E, 23.5E, 19E, 16E, 13E, 1W then edit and save.
But to say the very least setting up a channel list with 39E, 23.5E, 19E, 16E, 13E, 1W would be a massive task on one DBS file!!!
I've no doubt it can be done.

But jezuz a lot of time would be needed!!!

Have you tried scanning
39E, 23.5E, 19E, 16E, 13E, 1W then dumping it into PVR800?
Or does one scan override the other??
