great tut , just what a new guy needs... my question is what image to use ??? i can get a test line to experement with b4 buying one.... just totally new at all this.. thanks.. also little confused about firmware or is that the image.... soory for my naivety ..

Had this box for a while now but I cannot figure out how to "Sort" the satellite list? do I have to edit each satellite?
I was hoping this guide was going to show it but alas it was not to be :(

You could try to sort out the list your self using the box's channel editor and the remote or you can get channel editor software and edit on your pc or get a ready made list and upload to your box, AJ's is kept up to date and I find the best around.

Sorry I thought you were on about the channel list.
What do you mean sort the "Satellite List"? Are you motorised?
If just 28.2e you just select astra 28.2e on your list then do a scan, the scan will then find all your transponders and channels for you.
 
Motorised system, so have a list of satellite's and I don't know if it's possibile to sort them ........... as you would with a channel list

You do not need to sort them, in antennae setup use motor type usals, go to the satellites you are interested in one at a time adjust until you get strong signal set position number and save.

mahrkpat I have already downloaded the satellites I want, I just want to sort them now but can it be done or will I have to delete them and then reinstall them?

What is it that you actually want to do? Is it channel list for each satellite or something else?
 
I don't want to hijack this thread or anything but which satellite is the best to set the motor and dish up with?
 
Oh! and just to check if it says set dish to 0 degrees W that means South Yes?
 
where can we find new ccam.cfg files? does this help? also how do we enter servers into the system? thank you for your help

U don't find cccam files you make then yourself. If u get a line from a server you paste it into notepad and save as Cccam.cfg and put that on usb and add via menu upgrade by usb :D

Yes any server will give u a line to test do u have a box? Have you read up about servers? Could possibly be comin to an end soon

Am unable to see the thread..Have an Openbox S9 and trying to access programming on 119..Donations good but seeing scrambled channel..Wondering what I am doing wrong..
