Hi Everyone :)

I have just got my Openbox however there are some channels which come up Scrambled, I've tried adding my own transponders that I've found from other sites but there are a select few which I just can't seem to get working:

Version: CHDS2-11-05-09

Problem Channels:

Watch (Watch +1 WORKS)
Gold (Gold+1 WORKS)
Dave (Davejavu WORKS)
MTV
Alibi (Alibi +1 WORKS)
Channel 4 HD
CBS Reality (CBS Reality +1 WORKS)
MTV+1
ALL MTV Music
Channel 5 HD
5 USA (Brings up TV Info)
5 USA +1
5*
5*+1
FX HD
Syfy HD
E4 HD
Sky 3D
Bio HD
Sky Showcase
Universal HD
Comedy Central HD
Sky Sports 3 HD
Cartoon Network
CN Too
Boomerang
MTV MUSIC

Also ALL of the Movies HD Channels don't work and neither does ESPN HD...

Any help appreciated!

Thanks :)

Thats because they need a subscription card. Put your card in the card slot in the box, find your box key from you original box and enter that in the box key section and then your card should clear the channels.

Hi mate,

Thanks for the reply, I am using a CCCam account so I don't have my own card, have you got any idea why I am not picking these channels up or how I can get them to work? When the guy I bought the box off brought it over to test with my dish I recieved all the channels including ESPN HD however a channel list was put on the box to emulate sky and now I'm not getting it to work.

Any help aprpeciated!

You need to check who you get your cccam account with what they are suppling you with?

Have you tried one of the other channel lists posted on this site?

The other one is do a complete blind scan, dump the channel list and go through each individually in parallel to scrolling through the numbers on the TV and identify any that do work and drop them into the correct location using a channel editor.

I've had that before, but sometimes channels can be duplicated in places and it's just because their sat location has altered. (LyngSat - Lyngemark Satellite)

You should be using a paid subscription card to receive Sky TV, this forum does not encourage receiving Subbed TV by means of Illegal ways

Yep, just like it doesn't encourage jailbreaking iPhone's, using "non Sony" CFW on PSP's or indeed showing people how to use Clines in order to "receive subbed TV by means of Illegal ways" lol

Yes mate, put you second line on a seperate line if you get me:

for example

C: this.is.rubbish.com 12000 nouser etc etc
C: this.is.rubbish2.com 12000 nouser etc etc

hypocrisy *cough* *cough* :champion:

we dont encourage it .. we just say it can be done and its for educational only...some ppl just like reading up on these thing ;)

lol, I know, maybe I just misunderstood so just ignore me. I found the comment amusing given what had been posted in other forums is all ;)

But yes, its all for educational purposes

Back to the subject matter....

Woah...controversial!

Don't worry guys, I already have a Sky subscription...but I'm interested in CCCam side of it too!

Anyway, back to the topic! :)

Okay, so I've made some progress, it would appear that it's something to do with my LNB, my standard range setting is Universal (9750-10600) however I made a seperate scan under a different frequency and I'm now able to get the movies, mtv, dave etc.

The problem still persists with ESPNHD and Cartoon Network/Boomerang.

With ESPNHD the signal quality and strength just fluctuates like crazy and every now and again I can see a pixelated picture and hear a word or two. I've tried the different frequencies but still no luck.

Would any of you be so kind as to put what frequency (e.g. 12324 29500 V) you are using to recieve ESPN HD and also the same for Cartoon Network/Boomerang? Also what satellite frequency are you using (e.g. Universal 9750-10600)

Thanks,

Faulty LNB mate, I had the same problem, after a scan, the last channel was something like body in balance, I could not get premier and espn HD, but could get normal espn, I put a new LNB up and got them all.

Ahhh, I thought it could be! Damn!

Thanks for letting me know mate, I managed to get Cartoon Network and Boomerang etc, so all that's left now is:

ESPN HD
5*
5 USA
Channel 4 HD
Channel 5 HD

Also for some reason can't get Sky Action HD? lol

Crazy how it works, migh consider a new LNB then...fleabay? :)

Thats what I ended up doing, I got an 8 way one for about £20, so not too bad.
Good luck.
