can someone help me please i change TP_PROG.dbs to TP_PROG.abs and get a upgrade file mismatch

STBHD have released their own version of the Ali Editor. This appears to split the TP file into a sat.rom and sat_tp_prog.udf file allowing it to be edited (this may solve issues around favorites etc, but i haven't tried it yet)
Not sure if this is any better (or worse) than the original one.
1. Copy the "TP_PROG.dbs" File to current directory.
2. Excute the "split_dbs.exe", it will generate two files: sat.rom, sat_tp_prog.udf.
3. Try to edit the "sat_tp_prog.udf" by STBHDEditor.exe.
4. When edited/saved, excute the "merge_dbs.exe", it will merge the sat.rom, sat_tp_prog.udf into "TP_PROG.dbs".
STBHDEditor has the following function:
a. edit,add,delete the satellites.
b. edit,add,delete the transponder.
c. edit,add,delete the program.
if user want to Edit user`s Dump.abs, the tool is also availability .
warning: the MAX count of satellites is 64, if more added, the database will be error.

what do you mean current directory create one on the pc of make one on the usb stick

there is a hacked version of pvr800 called pvr800-editor_dbs that opens .dbs so you don't have to rename.Not a really good hack since it gives you the option to load .dbs from receiver to pc but actually grabs the 4meg.abs instead.
pvr800 is better than setedithd100,I had to manually add hidden channel info for a tp and pvr800 is the only one that let me select h264 video and ac3 audio.The alieditor.ini file was wrong on the version I grabbed,it was set for chip type m3329c instead of m3602.

I would advise backing up your tp_prog.dbs first then open with this program(user database)
After you edit, select save.

if you search for other m3602 based receivers that use .udf files you may also find chinese and german versions.

thanks m8 can you rename the favorites with this editor ive renamed mine on an s11 backed up to usb but when i load file on another s11 my favorites are called packages from hotbird and 19 ie d+ etc ? my channels that i rearranged with remote are all still in order but need to rename favorites groups once file is loaded onto another box

i have an ariva 210 ,i edited DumpFile.abs that have the channels in it with SetEditHD100 ,when i exported the files in abs format but when i try loading it to the decoder it will give error,what should i do ?
