Network Provider Useful O2 numbers

All customers:
1702 - customer services
1471 - last caller, with return call option.
1750 - Enable voice mail
1760 - Disable voice mail
2211 - O2 treats (thanks to FiGgY132)
2266 - Set-up European roaming rates
901 - collect voice mail
*0# - enter at the start of a text message (e.g. *0#Hello Digital World) to enable single message delivery reporting (thanks to FiGgY132)
**61*901*11*nn# - Extend number of rings before divert to voicemail (where nn = number of rings) (thanks to chetzy)

Pay Monthly:
202 - customer services (thanks to chetzy)
402 - customer services (thanks to andywhitt2)
If your contract is via Carphone Warehouse you can get your remaining minutes/texts sent as a text to your mobile by calling 08000490049 option 2, 2 and select o2 service and you can reach CPW/o2 customer service team (0800 numbers are no longer free from O2 mobiles so phone from a landline).

Pay as you go:
4444 - credit line
4445 - customer services (charged at 45p/min)
*#10# - displays credit balance

O2 disable their delivery reports by default
put "*0#"at the start of you txt message to re-enable it for that particular txt

The '30' in this situation refers to how many seconds your handset will ring before diverting to the voicemail 901 service as opposed to the number of rings. 30 seconds is the maximum.

Another tip, if going abroad, to avoid charges for voicemail being deposited is to replace voicemail with o2 call alert by dialling 1710. This switches voicemail off and if anyone calls you they get a message advising that o2 will send you a text to let you know they have called.
you receive a text message with details of the number that called and the time. Best of all, its free!!
