Wii softmod help needed

Hello guys,

I have question about softmodding my friends wii..
He already have a softmodded wii but wanted the
usb loader on it to, to use a hdd.
but when i wanted to install the usbloader
i first installed a new hbc. but now when i start hbc
i get a black screen. And the wii crashes.
I wanted to install the soft mod again but
i cant go on when hbc crashes..

anyone can help me with this problem? and can say
what i need to do now?

need some more info, what wii pal/usa/jap? lu64 ?

It is a PAL system with serial starting with HEL i thought..
atleast it is the same serial is my own and there it works fine.
only mine whas not soft modded and my friends wii whas soft modded

btw it whas modded with the gecko os..
and i tried modding it again with hackmii

do you have preloader or bootmii installed mate if not you can boot hbc from a disc to fix the prob.

No i dont hav einstalled those 2 program's.
Can i just put a game in then? and do a upgrade?
And is then the problem gone?
