Today we present just a quick update for our users with 9.5 emunand. This fixes the multirom menu not showing up and various updates for properly supporting 9.5 emunand.

We also want to inform our users about some news regarding emunand support for the New 3DS:
We will not be able to support emunand 9.5 or higher for a while on the New 3DS. This is only an issue for the New 3DS, the old 3DS and 2DS will never have this issue. This is not a definitive barrier, but we feel it necessary to inform our users that while we are still working on releasing our New 3ds support, we will not be able to provide support yet for 9.5 emunand or higher for New 3DS on release.

And as always ENJOY

Right @buzzer I just checked and I have two 3ds here on different firmware.

1 on firmware 9.2.0-20E

and the other on firmware 9.4.0-21E.

So what does this mean? homebrew channel as on the wii now possible?

Able to play 3ds 3D games ?

all or just some?

what do I need to buy and where do I buy them from?

is it a case of by a new chip and micro sd card, update as and when and have multiple games on teh sd card at one time or is it a case of 1 sd card / 1 game..

Please give us a detailed explanation Bud and pm any links where to buy any items etc.

Thanks Andy cause I'm totally lost here Bud

9.2 is playable with the new gateway hack and it may be possible to downgrade to 4.5 and use the profile hack which is easier IMO
9.4 is no go at the moment from gateway although you can use a sky3ds cart
you can fit a good few on a microsd and they will load as a multi menu

the homebrew channel is like the wii homebrew channel, but there is no way to run backups on it yet, might never be...

you need a game called "cubik ninja " to instal the homebrew channel, your should be able to instal it on your 9.2.0-20

console

i havent tried it yet, just got a new charger for the 3ds :)

i dunno about the 3ds cards m8,
i wouldnt buy a gateway card as they put code in their firmware to brick consoles running clone cards...

i have no idea at all about the sky3ds card, @spud1966 has one or has ordered one, he be best person to ask :)

afaik there's not alot can be done with the homebrew channel atm, but who knows whats round the corner..

go for the gatway cart it has more suport m8 but will only work on your 3ds with 9.2 firmware at the moment , plus you can downgrade to 4.5 firmware

wich makes it easer to run the gateway hack , if you leave it on 9.2 you have to use a url link to boot up gateway ( you must connect the 3ds to the internet) so not good if your out the house and have no internet conection to play your back up 3ds games

plus you can install homebrew and play snes games and other things without the cubic ninja cart

yes it will play the new 3ds games

and you patch the games so you can play live and not bet banned

with the gateway you have a CFW Nand EmuNand and you update that and it leaves you original Nand firmware to 4.5 untouched
