DSi 1.4.4 R4i SDHC not working

HI,
I have DSI which is updated to 1.4.4 version and now my R4i SDHC card is not working. I tried to update to 1.71b from the website using DS but it says that it only supports versions 1.42.

How can I update the card to work on 1.4.4 ..please help

which exact card is it?

I saw on some other websites that with firmware 1.56b this card works on 1.4.4

too early on a Sunday morning..

looks like you can...

go to cards official site and download firmware here that i circled, then follow the upgrading instructions...



you will need an older dsi 1.4.2 (or below)or dslite to do the update.

you cannot update on a console which is already blocking the card...

I tried putting in DSI at 1.4.1 but it still says "support NDSI 1.4.2"

I was able to update the R4i card using 1.57b firmware and DSi running at 1.4.1 and then I put firmware 1.71b and its working now !!!

hi im having the same problem please can you talk me through what to do I have the r4i v1.4.4 card and its no longer running my ndsi console is running at version 1.4.5E

I could get hold of one but not right this minute as the rain is pouring lol

well you need an older model to to the update..

you can't update on your current console as it is already blocking the card..

as you can probably tell im not very good at all this technical stuff I completely wiped my card when it stopped working so whats the process im going to phone my sister in law now and try and get hold of a ds tonight

when you get it, best to start new thread with your details..

there are alot of different cards,
give as much detail as possible about card (web address etc) and upload a photo is possible...

there are alot of very similer looking cards that are all diffrent..
