R4 Ultra

I tried to update a r4 ultra and it didnt seem to work i had backed up the original, i then formatted the memory card, put all the original stuff back on it now when i put it in the ds i get the loading screen then it flashes and goes black. have i broke the r4 card or any fixes out there?

got it working in the original state again. any idea what i can put on this to get it playing the newest games?

I have an r4 ultra and needing to update to play newest games too. Newest firmware on their site though is sept 2010. Where can I get a recent one for this cart?

Well I've managed to make a pigs ear of it lol.

Followed instructions but dont seem to have a ysmenu to load. And the games still dont work so defo messed it. Does anyone have these files pre-altered by any chance for this old duffer I think I need it idiot proofed

the newest looking firmware i can find is this.

not sure if it will work right enough... lol

ultra's are copies of acekards, you might ba able to use newer akaio firmware...




remember to backup your sd card first..

that is supposed to work on r4ultra or r4i ultra

you proberly downloaded the original akaio files.
you card is a copy so will not work on its own, you would need the other patch files with it...

you could maybe get more recent akaio firmware to work with it..
