guys

recently got a samsung plasma tv and it has ethernet port on it and was told i can use this to link to pc and play my movies ect through it , but im unsure how to do this does anyone have any tips or know what i should do please?
i have used a usb stick on the tv and they work for movies but i want a direct link to my pc.

Dont think you can get a picture throught ethernet.has it not got hdmi or phono you could buy a cable through fleabay.

hi

yes it has hdmi but what im tring to do is set up a network to my pc so i can watch movies ect , it does have dnla but again im unsure what to do or how it works?
the ethernet must be for this kind of setup?

It will be using DNLA, enable windows media centre or download a PC based DNLA server

ok i got it to work with media player , how do i get it to work with the 3d and bluray stuff? do i need a better media player ?
