Still Lost and Looking for a Better Place.
My daughter has been looking at buying this particular scooter and so I decided to do a little research.
The Peugeot Kisbee 50cc Scooter is made in China and sells at around £1350.
The 50cc engine is a 4 stroke engine that has the identification of GY6, 139 QMA or 139 QMB
and is a bought in item for the Peugeot Factory, this engine is used by many of the Chinese Scooter Manufacturers.
So the main mechanical part of the Peugeot Kisbee Scooter is the same as the "Cheap Chinese" Scooters that many people advise as "Don't Touch with a Barge Pole"
At £1350 Peugeot gives the Scooter a 2 Year Warranty.
Direct Bikes offer a Sports Scooter with the same engine for £499 plus delivery @ £85, however this Scooter is not as nice as the Peugeot Kisbee.
But Direct Bikes also do 8 other models with different styles at £699 plus delivery @ £85 and this includes a Model called the Viper which looks very similar to the Peugeot Kisbee (in fact my daughter thought that it looked even better than the Kisbee).
The Viper also comes with a Top Box worth £49.99 but only has 1 Year Warranty.
My thinking, which my daughter has agreed with, is that she would be able to save for the Viper much more quickly than the Kisbee and even if the Scooter completely failed after the 1 Year Warranty, she could buy another brand new Viper at that point and still only have paid much the same price of the Peugeot Kisbee.
Does anyone else have any thoughts on this ?

The Viper looks much better m8 especially the black and white version. To be honest I don't rate peugeot one bit.I am pretty sure direct bikes could do you an extended warranty if needed and still save money to buy gloves and accessories with.
