I had a 125 aprillia, lol. Still it was quick for what it was. Spent most weekends keeping it running though :)

Then there was my old faithfull zx which dropped a valve with in the first week of having her. I had to rebuild the head and re shim the valve, nightmare. But she never missed a beat after that.

My last bike just before I sold it, the best all round I have owned or ridden, could do just about anything. Did track days, touring (with the mrs on the back), commuting throughout the year and of course ideal tool for an early sunday morning blast. Had it three years and did close on 50k on it, never once missed a beat.

Lucky you can't see the other side as it has a load of scars from coming off doing 60.

Just out of interest, how many of you have come off your bikes?

Just once big time coming off, low sided at around 60.

Dropped them a few times, only once on public road.

One accident with another vehicle, ran into a car at a roundabout. I hit him, but he drove off.

Only stopped once by the cops.

I had an accident, a long time ago now, was a pillion passenger, wrecked my right knee and ankle. Still have problems with them. :(

See, they look buzzing and remember the thrilling feeling of the throbbing (tingling) engine of a Fizzy 50 roaring (whimpering) between my manly (boyish) thighs when I was 15 on a private road without a helmet on and and breaks that took 10 seconds to stop the bike, lol...

Think the feeling of freedom is amazing but has a few people close who had someone come off theirs and spend time is hospital with very serious injuries... Still, never say never, lol...

dont have one these days but thisis what i had in my younger days

1st Yamaha FS1E
2nd Kawasaki KH250
3rd Suzuki GS1100 in Silver

1st Yamaha FS1E

Lol, that's the one, same colour as well I think. Think they are worth a fair bit if they have been looked after. That Suzuki GS1100 is good looking bike...

I haven't come off it while moving but got rear ended while stopping at a red light by a Fiat ducato van pulling a small digger thing.
sky tarmac sky ouch lol.
Still very weary now when a light turns amber, just incase smething is on my backwheell.
ripped the pocket off my jacket, the sole from my boot but i walked away without a scratch.
oh and i dropped it while filling up when i put my foot in diesel and tried to put the side stand down with the other leg.
saved the bike but got a mirror in the eye for it lol.

Came away with a scratch finger but couldn't move my left leg/arm for about 2 weeks afterwards on top of which I had physio for 6 months afterwards. That was in 2006,I haven't ridden since and as a result of the accident I have trouble with my shoulders.
