Phone Unlocking D500

i have been trying all the codes to unlock my d500 so i can use an 02 sim.

Not having much joy. My mate says that the codes don't work for 02, said it needs a generic flash.

is he correct and if so where can i get the flash.

code probably wont work on the D500 m8, have to use a cable to unlock it, local market trader will have the tackle

The codes work on very early software versions of the phone, I have the cables if you need them... have USB and Serial, USB faster

Otherwise just look out for USB or Serial Unlocking Cable must be Unlocking cable... as the Standard USB ones wont unlock, the Serial Unlocking one should have a PP3 battery connector on the cable for extra power
