Phone Unlocking Help Unlocking Nokia 6230, using Crux Code Calculator

Hi,

Ive got a 6230, which is currently locked to Tesco Mobile. I have a copy of Crux 2.3 and this version has the phone in its supported list and also supports the network.

I have tried 4 codes now, so i think this is the last one. I can remember what setting i used for the other 4 attempts, but they were the wrong ones!!!!

OK, so i put into crux, its a DCT4, 6230, UK, Tesco Mobile, Enter IMEI. Now there are two boxes which i am stuggling with. The one which has stuff in such as prodigy, griffin, original ect. What goes in this one??? And also the one which has asic 1, asic 2 , asic 5 ect. What do i use for this one???

I have used Crux b4 for many other fones, and i always just guess what to use and ive always cracked it on the first time, or at least before the 4th time anyways.

6230's are Asic 6, so I reckon it might be outdated, I think Crux has actually helped make the unlocker on the nokiafree forums

try the site earl grey mentioned, it really is second to none for unlocking!

The details you need are asic 6, mcc (network code) 23410000, and your IMEI

try this way

Insert the WRONG sim card. (e.g if your phone is locked to orange, then put in a Vodafone/O2/tmobile simcard)

When it says phone restricted,
press "undo."
It will ask for a restriction code
and enter the code you got from the calculator crux...on screen

since u have already try 4 times, this si the last one, so try it at own risk! it worked on mine!
