Phone Unlocking nokia bl 5ct

Just been given one of these old phones, it is currently locked to orange ee etc, can these be unlocked, or does it need to be done by the orange.

Some of the older Nokias could be easily unlocked using codes got off the internet. But the model number you've posted sounds like the battery number!
A photo might help- either of the phone itself or the sticker under the battery.

That's what happens when You ask the mrs the model number lol, it's a Nokia 6303i. I'll take another look Myself now, I thought I didn't find much on google.

I used to use a site called trycktill (or something like that) to unlock my older Nokias for free, but that site seems to have gone. GSMLiberty appears to do the same thing, but your model (nor the battery lol!) isn't listed.

I've just been having a look, and they all seem to be pay sites. Looks like I'm going to have to try and blag a code off orange. If not it's going in the bin and I'll keep looking for a samsung for Her.
