Phone Unlocking is this a scam or what

was just on ebay looking for more 02 sims to resell and try make some money to top up my meager income support, anyway this one LOOKS like your bidding for 6 sims but down at the bottom really small print it says information only, then go buy the sims. lol i bid on it too, thank goodness i got outbid, buyer paid about 10 quid i thinkand he has loads of auctions on it and peeps are bidding.

Think I read something about this B 4 it has something to do with changing the date on your mobile at some period in the month.Just can't remember the details though I do believe it can be done.
