Its here finally, not all phones are supported yet, further instructions to come.



Phones tested so far and working:
Nokia 6680
Nokia 6630
Nokia N70

Please let me know what else you have unlcoked by posting in this thread and ill update the list.

here is the english translation of the manual

i hope he adds support for 6280..lol

******* CONECTION ******


For this program you need Fbus cable like DK5, CA43 or similar conected to ports from COM1 to COM9.
First unpack zip fiole and strat install.bat

In file "c:\bb5_unlocker\logs\bb5_unlocker.cfg" with any text editor change your COM port setings!


******* USING ********

Program can be started successfully only if is COM port in file "c:\bb5_unlocker\logs\bb5_unlocker.cfg" adjusted properly.



READ PHONE:

Reading info data from phone and making BACKUP file for that phone( Field 308,1).

IMPORTANT DO NOT delete or modify that file because can save your *** if something goes wrong.


WR BACKUP:
***********
With that function can write backup file with Field 308,1 if exist in BACKUP folder.

MAKE LOG:
***********

Function for making log file . With that log file BB5_calc.exe calculating codes for unlock.
Working with BB5 phones with RAP3G v.2.x (6630,6680,6681,6682,n70,n90).
IMPORTANT phone must be without Sim card.


SP UNLOCK:

Making unlock with codes calculated by BB5_calc.exe.



SP UNLOCK PROCEDURE


Connect cable to PC and be shure com port is adjusted properly
Start BB5logunlocker.exe
Connect phone and switch on without Sim card.
press button READ PHONE and wait until get the message DONE.
If is everything correct you will see info from phone on screen.
Pres button make log and wait until get mesage done.
Log file is in folder LOGS.
Start BB5_calc.exe to make for you PSW file in folder PSW
Press button SP UNLOCK and unlock your phone.

That is all folks



If you got unlock codes from your provider and you used all yours 3 attempts
to enter code via keypad then do the following:
into dir "c:\bb5_unlocker\psw" create a file "aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa_BB5.psw" where is "aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa" enter your phones imei
then in that created file enter in the files start "#pw+bbbbbbbbbbbbbbb+c#" where is "bbbbbbbbbbbbbbb"
enter your unlock code and where is "c" enter your logs level number (1-7).
save the file and use "SP UNLOCK" function

Just to add this does work but it is hard to understand and use, i still cant get it to work,
 
the programme supports all of them

but the bit which makes the logs only supports the rap2 i think

like 6330 n70 .etc (according to gsm forums)

well i will try this 2morrow at my m8s fone shop

i think about an hours worth of messing around i should be able to get 1 unlocked
 
The software is good. ONLY use it in 6630, 6680, n70, n90, 6681 reportedly also works, but not had one of these to do.

ALWAYS make a log. You don't need it to unlock your phone but if anything happens, you can load it back to the phone. If anything happens mid unlock and you do not have a backup, then its a NOKIA only job (they will also know what you've been at).

The CA-53 lead that 99% of the time comes with your phone is useless. Re-wire it to DKU-5 or even better turn it into a standard serial lead and use it with a com emulator.

Dunno if mentioned already but this software will even unlock your phone if the 0 count has been reached stopping you from unlocking by entering the code.

Like how to do it, and is it possible to convert all nokia USB cables this way?

Thanks for the info Blartiartfast but I have an N95 though, so how would I adapt my USB cable or where could I get one to unlock it?

The N95 doesn't have a 'Pop Port'....

It's a DKE-2 cable that comes supplied with the N95 ;)

"99% of the phones this software SUPPORTS come with dku-2 this won't work". The diagram I uploaded is 100% accurate. It is simple to make a com's lead from this diagram.
Just check that the lead you have has enough pins to make the conversion before you chop the lead.

On a final note, it won't unlock the N95 anyway. Come to think of it, it only unlocks a few "oldies" anyway. The software has been released by Dejan (remember the guy that never had the software, was washed up, full of it, etc (not your words, but plenty on this board believed this)) to prove his solution works, and is after selling the complete solution now there is proof / to pi$$ off the other developers / lord only knows. Make up your own mind.

Like I said already. If you want to use this software, and can't build your own lead then get on Ebay and buy a lead. They are selling (delivered) for £5 and less atm. Should imagine that they will either sell out or out their prices up

And there are no cables on ebay, or anywhere that I can see that will work for the N95 as it DOESN'T have a pop port. Like I said the cable that comes with it is the DKE-2 not DKU-2. The DKE-2 is just a standard USB to MINI USB lead which is why I was asking if it is even possible to mod this cable and how or even where to buy a DKU-5 for the N95?

Please correct me if I am wrong as I am just repeating information I have found whilst trying to learn about this.

it depends on bootloader version tooo

plus its the bit of the programme that makes the logs or codes that is not compatible with the other fones yet

the bit which reads and writes codes .etc is 100% compatible with the other fones

and the guy Dejan like i said he wont be bulling about a solution

he's got a long history for these kind of things

so i still cant understand why peeps thaught he was bulling because thats the main reason he didn't release it

so its only the logger that it depends on

and according to peeps when team griffin release a so called box for bb5

dejan is going to release a update for the logger so it can support all latest fones .etc

Fes u couldnt make a tut or give us sum instructions on how to unlock a n73 plz. Im not very familiar with this phone stuff.:Boo: :Boo:

N73 it keeps saying cant detect fone

i suppose its different rap3g version

in the fone u want to unlock type *#0000# it will come up with ur fone info

it should say ur fone version make sure its under v2.22 or the max in the software

but if ur fone version is 3.3* u cant do it yet

hope this helps

Thanks for clearing that up fes_786 :)

So does he already have the updated logger and is just waiting to release it, or is he working on it to be released? SOunds like he already has it but is waiting for team Griffin to release a box then he will release his update. But I don't see the point in this, if he has it why not release it now :confused:

Also when he does release his update how would I go about getting/making a DKU-5 cable for my N95 as it only has a MINI USB port on it? Or will that do to create the log files then I generate the unlock codes with the calculator and enter them manually?
