Ring Tones htc desire call recording?

Well the heading says it all

If anyone reads general chat section, I’m at the moment going through a custody battle, I found out today from a letter from my solicitor that my allegations against my ex (c1a form) has been sent to her, i know with her past I’m going to be getting a nasty call of her or her mum, i need some software to record the conversation on my HTC DESIRE. (Not HD )

I know it’s impossible for this model to record the conversation without loud speaker on?? Or is it

From quick bit of reading (because I was interested in this as well) it appears that voice calls are process through the radio system and not directly accessible by android apps on most phones so unfortunately apps such as AllCallRecorder rely on recording through the microphone and as you say, you might need to switch to speaker call for them to work properly.
