Against my advice the missus bought a Surface last year. Needless to say she can't get on with office 365.Its now due for renewal but rather than paying another £65 can I just delete 365 and put office 2013/2015 on as I have a copy of both here. Anything I need to be aware of?

Cheers

Yes you should be able to uninstall it, run ccleaner, reboot and then install different version.

Just make certain there are no documents in the cloud that you need. Download them.

I think you can get basic office 365 on the cloud and Android/IOS clients if you have hotmail email account. That comes with 15GB of data on onedrive and costs nothing. Seriously.

to be honest she just wants shot of cloud storage.

Should be easy enough to uninstall via Program Features, look for O365 - Click to Run. You can then just install a fresh copy of Office
