Hey people,

I'm after building this pc, buying parts over time (long time actually) but I finally put it together last night with a friend.. I installed linux on it last night no problem... I extracted a Linux Mint iso onto me usb stick and it booted off it no problem and installed !! it's a ripper by the..an octacore with a 240 ssd an 16gb of 2400mhz ram..

But I tried the same trick with win10.. (should of installed it first actually) i'd like to setup a dual boot. I extracted an iso onto my usb stick and just wont boot off it....

Where am I going wrong is there an option in the BIOS or something.. I've had a look can't see anything myself. it's set to boot off usb first an all that. stumped !!!

Anyway,

All help is greatly appreciated as usual...
Regards,
Jay

What tool did you use to create the bootable USB from the Win10 iso?

There is specific free microsoft tools to do it. Google it and you will easily find it.
Why trying with something else?

there was a video on youtube. but u had to use list of commands to do it .

was long time ago when i did it but was windows 7 at the time

You can use Rufus utility for create boot USB from Windows 10 iso. Just google it.

the problem will be that win 10 will not be activated
so best idea would be to load win7-win8.1 (cracked copy ) then upgrade to 10 as it copies key over
could be wrong sorry if i am
