downloaded and upgraded about a month ago for windows 7, super smooth transition and I had a lot of crap on my hd. So far no problems with gaming side of things, all high end graphic games run as smooth if not better.

The only thing I could say bad about windows 10 so far is that it is not compatible with a few older games I have tried. They all run put hit a key (escape key seems to be most annoying one) and some could jump back to desktop or crash all together

Do you have a list of problem games? Somebody might know a workaround.

still waiting to upgrade to windows 10, will do it soon as I hate windows 8

My biggest fear is that all my beloved old games are not running with windows 10. Until now I'm still on windows 7, maybe I will upgrade during the christmas holidays.

You can roll back to Win7 if it doesn't agree with you.

You only have a month to do this though.

I noticed on a laptop I updated my AV stopped updating but a reinstall sorted that out.

Yeah, I know, but as leemoo already said, you have only one month. Currently I'm a little bit busy due to work. The PC on which I may upgrade to Windows 10 was used the last time in september :(.

I do wish that some Anti Virus companies would update the compatibility to Windows 10. Because the built in stuff just does not really cut it, and companies have been slow to respond.

Hoping that a couple driver updates are released soon. I love 10 but it made my SD card reader on my laptop useless until a driver is released. I ended up buying a USB reader in the meantime.

You could always manually search for and install required drivers from manufacturers site.

Tried with no luck. It is a pretty widespread issue from what I can tell on these Dell machines using this reader. I will be patient.

anyone knows if programs like dreamboxedit will work on windows 10?
greets preker

everything works same as for 7 and 8.1 so yes dreamboxedit and any other ftp programs works fine.

Yes this happened to me with Kaspersky, they recommended reinstalling program and everything was ok. I suppose when an upgrade as windows 10 is you have to be prepared for a little upset.

Well the program migrated from windows 7 to windows 10 with the upgrade Preker. All I can tell you is that it opens and runs on desktop but I have no box to hook into so I cant confirm totally running. I am running the latest version of dreambox edit but I don't use it, I prefer FileZilla for ftp work. I also have dreamset installed and that is also opening on desktop.

One other problem I have encountered but its minor is the new edge browser, when I was typing replies to emails or in websites a few times on one night it froze at times and emits a ding sound whilst typing. I don't know if something was going on with a background program that was affecting it or if it is a fault with the browser. It only has happened once so far.
