Win 10 Win 10 yes /no

Was running the Tech preview for a while then upgraded to the full version, looks and feels so much better than windows 8.

No. I'm perfectly happy with Win 7, it's stable, it does everything I need it to do, so I don't see any reason to potentially **** things up.

have to agree
win 10 seems to be an upgrade to the load of crap win8 just by the look of it and it seems to be a bit early in it's life to be as reliable as win7 or even xp

hi guys, been a while
windows 10 pro, did a full install lately with a lovely genuine key, im legit for 1st time in 15 years :proud: and i love it, not the genuine bit but the feel of it is great compared to 8 and a big update from 7
ps never cost me a penny either

Win 10 is quicker to load and more efficient with processor and memory usage, if you do research you can make it look and act like windows 7 too

I've had friends who have updated to win 10, and found their laptop unresponsive. I told them to get rid of win 10 and revert back to the previous OS, which they did, hey presto, laptop's work again.
(Main problem was that after a few days admin password not recognised so couldn't access system)

I think you chaps listen to the gossip before trying things out been running mine for 2 months, ok took awhile to find things as they have changed but I fine it fine runs fast love the new edge browser, built in email is fine I cant complain at all.

I Have Tried
========

windows 3.1 floppy disks :)
windows 95
windows 98
windows millennium (crap)
windows 2000
windows vista (crap)
windows 7
windows 8
windows 8.1 better
windows 10

still way to probmatic for me has a bit to go yet
still on my Win 7 which does as i need

At least for me, Windows 10 still has some problems. From time to time my network card stops working and sometimes I receive strange errors when using Office 2013 applications (mostly in MS Word 2013). The bad thing is that I must choose between Windows 10 and Windows 8.1 because my license won't permit downgrade to Windows 7 :((

I installed windows, I'm not satisfied I much prefer my windows 7, ti's more stable

I personally wished I had stayed with windows 7 since 10 does not feel like a real upgrade but I want directx 12

I have three computers and each with different windows (7,8 & 10). The more I use it, because it is the most stable is windows 7.

Have installed win 10 on home laptop, it's a pain, sticking to xp and win 7 at work.

I have steered clear from experience telling me things go wrong.
I have family and friends who have taken the update and called me when things have gone wrong which has reinforced me opinion. Luckily nothing major so far.enough to stop me taking the leap though.

I bought this laptop with vista installed. I then purchased the 7 64bit upgrade it stopped the hdmi stereo out so I got a 32bit win 7 and after getting used to it I was quite happy but it was not a legal copy. I have updated to 10 legal again now ,I have stopped all the microsoft spy ware and auto updates, removed the start icons so it is now like a xp and 7 start window It has finally settled down and is as stable as my win 7, 10 is a little faster browsing with firefox .I deleted the edge.exe file , i use spybot search and destroy with malwarebytes as protection and it works well

That is a good way of using win 10

You should use defender as well but it's not much good without updates

besides the updates don't do any harm, unless it is a major update

and then you can always check to see if the major update has changed any settings

Hi I do check for updates and then install them when I want to not when Microsoft push them on me
