Win 10 Windows 10/WMP difference?

Probably a setting so fixable but how lol

in wmp I had a icon I clicked on that then showed the content playing on wmp on my TV

This icon has now disappeared :err: any ideas how to get this feature back ?

Windows Media Center is dead – here are the best alternatives

Sorted it after a bit of searching

WMP had reset all previous settings so I had to allow streaming again

go to Stream, More Streaming Options, then allow devices you want

just don't do a clean install or you'll lose your WMP altogether because its discontinued

I reverted my media centre purely because I still use WMC - shame but I understand their reasoning, not been touched since vista

something like kodi with nextpvr may be an option to look at

To tell you the truth I have never used either of them so I don’t know which does what



Windows Media Player is a playback application where in you can play music, videos and sync devices.


Windows Media Center has all the features of Window Media Player and also has the ability to play Live TV, record TV.
