I'm running win10 and Edge is locked on the site "gethelp2.onlinepccomputerhelp.c*m" giving details of an adware problem at "malware.testing.google.help" and saying to ring 020-3805-0575.
I know its a scam but I cannot get rid of the popup and every time I move the mouse the popup is back & locks the screen and the only way out is ctrl-alt-del.

Any ideas guys. ?

Edge is now unusable ~ I did a scan with Avast, Win Defender and ADWcleaner and was able to use Edge for a short while, but now the problem is back. Lots of popups and ADs and then its locked the screen again. It does seem the be ransomware. I'm running the latest Insider Win 10 Pro although I am not sure what version of Win8 was originally installed on it before win 10 and I have not done any win10 installs on or since 29 July.
If I do a clean install of win 10 will it delete this ransomware as Edge cannot be uninstalled. Is there any another solutions please guys ?
Your help will be appreciated.

Ctrl-alt del works to get out of the edge browser but as soon as I start it back up it locks the screen and nothing works. Thanks! Will keep trying.

Gone thru all the suggestions including Hitman. There is no option to reset edge and now I have "deals avenue" as well! (came with 64 bit hitman)
Going to format, reload win 7 pro and start again. unless DW members have any better ideas ?

if you do a fresh install m8 after its all setup just use Arconis true image

then you can back up the full drive to a image , then if you have a problem just put the image back on , saves you hours of time ect

Best way, and make an incremental image after program installs so you can rewind to any state.

Takes minutes to revert to a backup if you keep the images on a local drive.

I never use edge, I always set Firefox or opera as my default browser.

I would just format the drive and start again if you cant download Firefox or opera

always disabled or removed IE & next one Edge if i ever get onto running 10

firefox best option followed by opera

I assume you've already tried recovery to an earlier date

Try the Reset function in Start > Settings > Update & Security > Recovery > Reset this PC (Get Started).

This may work for you if it's not too late

on the keyboard Press the Windows key and X key

Click on the Command Prompt (Admin)

Type this on the command prompt:

Or Copy and Paste it

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth

Then press Enter

That worked. Brilliant !! Lost most of my apps but I can manage that OK as I only had a few anyway. Need to find clean downloads for AVC and Acronis.
Many thanks again guys !!!!
