shockwave keeps randomly crashing on chrome

For months now i have had shockwave randomly crashing on chrome.

nothing seems to cause the problem just happens.


i have reinstalled windows 7 pro x64 on my ssd after i had originally cloned my my existing hard drive but still get the random crash.
i have tried disabling both google plugins and adobe plugins in chrome but still the same.
i have updated the catalyst drivers but to no avail.

wondering if anyone can suggest anything else to try?

I was having a few problems with Chrome, and I stumbled across another browser called 'Maxthon'. It has a Chrome-like feel but with a few handy features and, touch wood it's never crashed on me! I've hardy used Chrome since. It even has a no-frills 'Nitro' version, but even the loaded version loads & runs very quickly. Worth a try?

looks like chrome is getting binned.

Already got a massive thread on the chrome for android google forums about unstoppable pop ups.

Looks like google have ruined chrome on all platforms.
