Does anyone know best/cheapest place to buy office 365?

It's for my daughter. I have a copy (cough) but her mum wants her to have a legit copy because they live in Bedford and I'm in Stockport so any problems and she'll be stuck, so we agreed to go halves on it. I wondered where best place to buy was, I've seen some on eBay but not sure they'll work

Thanks
Sean

could you not use team viewer to sort out any future complications?

Never used it so not sure. Her mums adamant got to be a proper copy

When it’s for the family, I usually install a corporate version, you don’t get many problems with those but you won’t get the latest version if it’s corporate.

You do realise it's subscription software? I would look at Libre Office or Open Office, free and file-compatable.

Alternatively, if you want MS Support look at Office Home & Student at about £100.

This.

You need to pay a monthly sub for Office365 and its mostly used in business and enterprise. Look at office 2010 or 13

Software4students would be a good cheap alternative for a legit office, there is no need to prove you are a student ether.

MS Office is not cheap though, 365 is a subscrition based license, as previously stated, but you can use the web based versions for free. Office 2013 is approx £99 for the home & student version, Office 365 is approx £70 and includes a 1 year subscription.

If you just need basic wordprocessor or spreadsheet and dont need access or powerpoint, then (as previously recommended) Libre Office is totally free and will open and save MS office documents as will Open Office.

TeamViewer will allow you to connect to another PC and use it as if you were sat in front of it, whilst still allowing the other party to use it so you can view what they are doing (it always has boxes on screen so you cant use it for stealth remote control). This is how you can sort things out for peeps whilst you are still in your own home.

Teamviewer also has android and ios apps so you can control a PC from them. It's very good and free for personal use.
