Windows 8.1 activation , the best fix

I recently installed the above and have no end of hassle with best crack, I used the one with where you replace the token files etc and use a key that's a preview one or similar, anyway after a week or so and it told me the key was going to be invalid, thinking this was going to make it good forever amen.

s started to try the others available

Windows 8.1 Product Key Finder Ultimate v13.12.2 (cant find one that's not full a shit and wants you to do surveys)
kmsauto1
KMSpico_v9.0.2
Microsoft Toolkit 2.5 Beta 4 all windows & office activator

think the system is just a mess now, get the activation reminder up every day, saying its going to start shutting down every 2 hrs. soon, basically I don't where to go apart from reinstall again.

Has anyone any feedback on what to do, how to fix the issue without wiping and starting again, so time consuming.

any feedback appreciated.

Been using KMSpico 9.1.3 without problems. Problem is that once an activator fails I find that its difficult to fix but using another activator, usually need a re-install.

Also they seem to have blocked a load of key's. So usually install without network connected, use one of the keys floating around for the install and then run KMSpico before you connect the PC to the internet.

I'll give this a go tonite but I like this idea from pburns. Its what ive been looking for ages, to get back media center, just need to give myself a day of installing everything again

Activated it with the included activator, I then took the upgrade option online (from within windows) from microsoft and upgraded to win 8 pro with media center for £7, you then download the addon and they send you a new key for the pro mce edition, I then wiped the drive and installed the pro mce edition with the new legit key from Microsoft no need for activator everything legit.

I posted how it can be done a while back

Does dasloader work on 8.1 ? works on every other version i've tried

Nope, no windows 8 support. Daz works by emulating a valid SLIC (text string in BIOS that says its a OEM PC that was supplied with a Windows license).

Win8 changed the activation mechanism as you now need to also contact a valid key server every 180 days.

MOVE WITH THE TIMES

Im in IT and believe you need to keep moving, things change too fast. I like Windows 8 and when Windows 9 comes i'll be in there first. Don't say well buy it as that's sacrilege :proud:

Thought id give you an update on my situation, I used the disc below and used choice Windows 8.1 Pro with Media centre x86/x64 / KMS-Activated which seems to be working a treat, have my Xbox paired up with media centre and no other issues as of yet.

One issue im having is a file called AutoIt v3 script (32bit) which im pretty sure isn't coming from the op system but something else I installed, some say its a virus and some say its legit, have to find out what's running it or I'll be wiping again as its eating cpu badly, that and nero12starter of which I've switched off at boot up and a hell of a lot service.exe's running.

All in All the op system looks good lol :drunk:

Windows 8.1 AIO 20in1 x32/x64 Pre-Activated Dec2013

Murphy78 presents Windows 8.1 AIO x64 en-US Pre-Activated
Contains KB files current to Dec10-2013, patch date

No Windows 8.1 Settings were harmed in the making of this ISO.
No Programs are added to Windows.
No Registry Settings were modified.
No Unattended Settings were added to the ISO.

These RTM Sources are the final Build 9600

Installation Indexes:
Windows 8.1 (Core) x86/x64 / KMS-Activated
Windows 8.1 (Core) N x86/x64 / KMS-Activated
Windows 8.1 (Core) Single Language x86/x64 / KMS-Activated
Windows 8.1 Pro x86/x64 / KMS-Activated
Windows 8.1 Pro N x86/x64 / KMS-Activated
Windows 8.1 Pro with Media Center x86/x64 / KMS-Activated
Windows 8.1 Pro VL x86/x64 / KMS-Activated
Windows 8.1 Pro N VL x86/x64 / KMS-Activated
Windows 8.1 Enterprise x86/x64 / KMS-Activated
Windows 8.1 Enterprise N x86/x64 / KMS-Activated

Language: en-US (English - United States)

Features:
-Non-Activated and Pre-Activated indexes. Take your pick.*
*Uses custom KMS folder in Windows directory. I've included the uninstall
script if you want to use a different activator later
-Highly Compressed install.esd recovery compression format.
-DaRT 8.1 integrated into boot.wim recovery options. Choose Repair
your computer, Troubleshoot, then MS DaRT options to open. Features
include an offline defender a/v scanner, password reset tool, registry
editor, offline hotfix removal, system file checker, and many more.

Notes:
-All indexes use original MSDN 9/9 Win8.1 isos with integrated hotfixes.
-Added ei.cfg to sources directory. You *HAVE* to extract the iso and
delete the file if you want to upgrade from a previous version of
Windows. Use the win81-pkeys.txt on the ISO for install keys.
-This version uses qad's v5 KMS server service build with integrated
WinDivert functionality from Windivert 1.1.1 WDDK.
-I have observed a rare occasion where setup fails at 88 percent on a
vm I use for testing. It is likely related to the install.esd recovery
compression, but rebooting and re-trying setup seems to fix the issue.
If the problem persists in future, I may resort back to the install.wim
and large versions with monthly patches. I only noticed this in the x64
version, but it's possible it could be present in the x86 version as well.
If I do resort to install.wim versions in the future, I'd likely start
a separate pro single-index version like I did with win8.0. I re-integrated
everything on the x64 and the problem did not seem to disappear, but like
I said; it's rare and reboot fixes it.
